Chelsea fans will love what Cesar Azpilicueta said about Arsenal's Europa League victory parade

Cesar Azpilicueta has insisted that Chelsea must ruin Arsenal's Europa League 'victory parade' ahead of the final tonight in Baku.

The Gunners have planned a tour of the trophy around north London should they win in Azerbaijan, something that the Blues have not done should they win tonight.

Chelsea were supposed to have an open-top bus parade in 2017 when they won the Premier League, but cancelled the event in the wake of the Manchester terror attack.

They also did not host one last season when they clinched the FA Cup and have not planned to have any parade this week, either.

Arsenal are looking to win their first European trophy since 1994 when they won the Cup Winners' Cup, and will celebrate the victory should they win tonight.

However, Azpilicueta, who is set to captain the team, is ready to ruin those plans for the Gunners and their fans.

“They have to plan for this. Hopefully we can ruin it," Azpilicueta said. "Our job is to play the game and win the trophy. We didn't plan a parade, but that doesn't mean we're not hungry and determined to win the trophy.

"We'll go with everything, the last game of a long season. When you have a trophy to play for, you get energy from everywhere. Hopefully we can get our hands on it."
