Chelsea fans paid tribute to club legend Gianluca Vialli with a heartfelt message in the Stamford Bridge stands on Wednesday night.
Vialli, 55, revealed last November that he had been battling cancer for a year, and recently announced that he was still undergoing treatment in a battle to "live a normal life".
With Vialli continuing to battle pancreatic cancer, Stamford Bridge fans let the former Chelsea player and manager know he was in their thoughts during Wednesday's Carabao Cup tie against Manchester United.
In the build-up to the game, We Are The Shed - a fan group who describe themselves as 'A movement gathering #CFC supporters who sit in The Shed to create displays & improve the atmosphere' - tweeted about their intention to mark the game with a tribute to Vialli.
@WeAre_TheShed tweeted: "We will display a banner in the M. Harding tonight in support of Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli who is fighting cancer
"As the players walk out & the banner is held aloft we encourage you to chant Vialli's name to let him know we are with him.
"Please spread the word #ForzaVialli".
And fans in the Shed End unveiled two banners reading: "Forza Vialli/We Are With You" before kick-off - a classy message.
