Prospective Chelsea owners have been shown why they must pounce on the opportunity to sign Paulo Dybala. The 28-year-old, whose contract at Juventus expires at the end of the season, is set to be one of the most highly sought after free agents available this summer.
Dybala will not be signing a new deal with the Old Lady and he's now set to begin talks with interested parties, according to Fabrizio Romano. Thomas Tuchel's side have been credited with interest in the Argentina international, with several other Premier League sides also throwing their hat in the ring, as per 90min.
The Argentina international, who's found the perfect balance between playmaking and goalscoring during his seven-year stint in Turin, has emerged as the perfect profile to supplement Kai Havertz's growing role at the club. So, should the new owners look to land a dynamic star-studded forward, then Chelsea must first solve the futures of the club's wealth of attacking options.

Following Tuchel's decision to entrust the £71m-man with the responsibility of leading the frontline in a false-nine capacity, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku have been forced to settle form places on to the bench. Chelsea's transition into a dynamic strike force has left the latter duo on the periphery.
Similar to Jurgen Klopp's and Pep Guardiola's principle, Tuchel has opted for a free-flowing front-three which strays away from a rigid No. 9. Havertz, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Mason Mount have all relished the chance to interchange with one another.
Dybala has been one of the best chance-creating strikers, who have played at least 900 minutes, from Europe's top five leagues this season. The Argentine ranks above the likes of Karim Benzema, Kylian Mbappe and Havertz for secondary chances created per 90 minutes, as defined in The Analyst's graph below.
While there may be hesitancy in taking Dybala on board because of his age, he doesn't turn 29 until November. It's a myth that a player's ability begins to dwindle once they near 30 — if anything, professional athlete's are often hitting their prime at this stage.
He has suffered a series of concerning muscle injuries so far this season but nevertheless, if the new owners do look to lure Dybala to Stamford Bridge in the summer, Chelsea should look to take advantage of Werner and Lukaku's interest from overseas.
Sky Sports claim that the Germany international, who is valued at £45m by Transfermarkt, has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, Football Insider have credited Paris Saint-Germain with interest in £77m-rated Lukaku should Kylian Mbappe join Real Madrid. So, prospective owners of Chelsea could rake in a healthy £122m while also signing a better suited replacement.
