Chelsea could still lose out on Ousmane Dembele transfer as Everton's Richarlison eyed

Chelsea could be one of the Premier League's busiest clubs this summer with plenty of uncertainty throughout the first-team squad. Todd Boehly's early days at the club are likely to be dominated by transfer planning with a number of high-profile names reportedly targeted already.

The departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have already been confirmed by Thomas Tuchel but they may not be the last to leave. Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have all been linked with moves away and it remains to be seen what the first-team squad will consist of when the transfer window closes.

Nevertheless, it is a challenge those concerned will have to be up for. With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at the latest names to be linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.

Ousmane Dembele

There was an understanding from certain French outlets on Wednesday that the Thomas Tuchel favourite had chosen Chelsea as his final destination ahead of the summer transfer window officially opening for business.

Chelsea want the winger and despite not currently agreeing upon a contract length with the free agent, football.london understands that the £130million Barca signing could be one of the first signings of the Todd Boehly era alongside international compatriot Jules Kounde.

However, PSG who had reportedly dropped out of the race, are back in it with new management at the top of the club keen to bring in more French players and as a result, the names of Chelsea targets alike in the form of Dembele and Nkunku are back on the table.

This is according to French Journalist Hadrien Grenier who has tweeted: "PSG is still in the race for Ousmane Dembele. Discussions have recently taken place with his agent. PSG vs Chelsea battle in this file."

Richarlison

The Everton forward, despite not being relegated this season to the Championship with Frank Lampard, is reportedly keen to find a way out of the club this summer.

In a bid to do just this, it has been revealed by The Sun that the Brazilian has made a shortlist of at least three clubs he wants to join.

Topping the list is Chelsea and whether or not they listen to the Everton star's wishes remains to be seen but he has certainly thrown his hat into the ring of potential Romelu Lukaku replacements.

However, international compatriot Gabriel Jesus is currently winning that race, so depending on what happens to the Man City star and where he eventually ends up, Everton's number 7 may have to wait sometime before any of his three shortlisted clubs reach out to him with each of their priorities currently elsewhere.

Romelu Lukaku

Alessandro Bastoni, Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar are three names that have been mentioned in a potential swap deal with the Blues as Inter Milan look to unlock the Romelu Lukaku transfer situation.

The Belgian is doing all he can on his side to force an exit and it is understood that Todd Boehly and Clearlake won't stand in his way if the offer to come in made financial sense.

Therefore, amid reports that Internazionale would have to fork out £21m in loan fees to make this return a possibility for this summer, certain players have been thrown into the equation. Each of the aforementioned trio want to stay put where they are meaning that options are running out.

Step in Stephen De Vrij and the Dutchman is reportedly one of the names Chelsea would consider if offered their way as manager Tuchel looks for defensive reinforcements this summer, as per SempreInter.com.
