Chelsea have confirmed Infinite Athlete as the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season.
The Blues had been playing without one after the Premier League blocked a proposed deal with broadcaster Paramount+ over the summer due to the risk of upsetting current rights holders.
They also faced fan backlash from supporters for considering betting company Stake amid ongoing work from the Chelsea Foundation to tackle problem gambling.
Infinite Athlete will be displayed on both the men’s and the women’s shirts and will make its first appearance on the kit when Chelsea Women kick-off their Women’s Super League campaign against Tottenham on Sunday.
Reports have claimed the deal could be worth up to £43m.
Chelsea executives are working on a longer-term sponsor from next summer onwards.
“Chelsea Football Club has announced Infinite Athlete as its principal partner for the 2023-24 season,” read a club statement.
“The brand will appear on the front of the team’s men’s and women’s playing kits and training kit sleeve, starting with the Chelsea Women’s FA Super League game against Tottenham Women on Sunday night.
