Todd Boehly's main priority for the summer transfer window will undoubtedly be to sign a new striker. Kai Havertz has been the man deployed at the tip of the Chelsea attack for a number of seasons, and despite impressing in front of goal over the last few weeks, there is a clear need for a natural number nine to be present at Stamford Bridge.
Napoli star Victor Osimhen is the main name being heavily linked with the Blues, but they will likely face stiff competition from Manchester United. There is also no guarantee Osimhen wants to leave Italy, with Napoli runaway Serie A leaders and in a great position to win the Champions League.
Understandably, having seen him score 25 goals this season, Napoli also don't want to see him depart and have therefore slapped a monumental £150million valuation on his shoulders, according to Il Mattino.

A new central midfielder is also high on the wish list and a number of top class players in that position look set to be on the move in the summer. Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham are the two obvious names but it's also very possible Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister could be the next man on the south coast to secure a lucrative move away, while Moises Caicedo was a target in January.
Rice is wanted at both Chelsea and Arsenal, with the latter identifying the West Ham captain as their priority target, football.london understands. Bellingham, meanwhile, is wanted all across Europe with the dominating midfield displays put in by the 19-year-old making many label him one of the best young midfielders in the world.
Like Napoli with Osimhen, West Ham and Borussia Dortmund do not want to lose their star assets, but know, given contract situations, a summer exit is the likeliest and best-case scenario for both parties. Spending a considerable amount on a midfielder is a decision that throws up some confusion in west London, especially after parting ways with over £100million to sign Enzo Fernandez in January.
However, whoever Chelsea decide to sign will likely mean no major transfer is needed in that position for a considerable number of seasons. Both Bellingham and Rice have likely only seen their respective asking prices increase during the international break.
Rice scored and dominated the midfield against Italy, while Bellingham put in an all-round wonderful display against Ukraine on Sunday evening. The performance of Bellingham particularly caught the eye of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, with Bellingham also complimentary of the former England midfielder.
When compared to Gerrard by host Jules Breach, Bellingham responded: "The things that Stevie could do in terms of the teams he played in, the way he could carry a team, the way he could kind of single-handedly win a game, he could do everything as a midfielder. I’ve definitely said it multiple times I’ve looked up to you so it’s a pleasure to be stood here."
If Chelsea were to sign Bellingham, it would complete an all-star midfield with the partner for 22-year-old Fernandez likely decided for the next five years at least. Todd Boehly has a number of options to fill that position with N'Golo Kante named as a player the Blues would like to see form a partnership with Fernandez, but a midfield duo of Bellingham and Fernandez is a mouth-watering thought.
