AC Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech, according to recent reports.
Ziyech joined the Blues two years ago but has since struggled for consistency, starting just 29 Premier League fixtures since joining from Dutch giants Ajax. Now, The Daily Mail have claimed that the Moroccan winger wants to join Italian outfit, AC Milan, with the west Londoners willing to part ways with him for little as £8.4 million, more than £25 million less than they bought him for just two years ago.
Thomas Tuchel's side are open to selling the 29-year-old, football.london understands, although he will have to take a pay cut if he is to join the reigning Serie A champions. Speaking about Ziyech's lack of game time earlier this year, Tuchel said: "We switched systems lately.

"If we play in a back four, a 4-1-4-1, with a right winger position - this suits Hakim very best. This position was not available from the start in the (Carabao Cup) final so we took the tactical decision to play with the back three so did not leave us with the same position for Hakim so he came from the bench."
Despite the summer transfer window being open for more than six weeks now, Chelsea have signed just two first-team players in the form of English attacker Raheem Sterling and Senegal centre-half Kalidou Koulibaly. The Blues are still keen to bolster their defence, football.london understands, and the west Londoners are now considering making a move for Leicester City star Wesley Fofana.
The French youngster has established himself as one of the Premier League's most talented young centre-backs since joining the Foxes from Saint Etienne two years ago.
