Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be in the Elland Road dugout to face Leeds United, even though he received a red card in the Blues' last game against Tottenham Hotspur. The German clashed with Spurs boss Antonio Conte on the side-lines, resulting in both managers being shown red cards shortly after the game ended.
Tuchel has received a one match touchline ban for his actions, but it has been suspended pending the independent Regulatory Commission's written reasons, allowing him to be in the away dugout for the clash at Elland Road on Sunday.
A statement from the FA reads : "An independent Regulatory Commission has today ordered that Thomas Tuchel be fined £35,000 and banned from the touchline for one match, and Antonio Conte be fined £15,000 after they respectively breached FA Rule E3.

"Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte admitted that their behaviour after the final whistle of the Premier League game between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC on Sunday 14 August 2022 was improper, and both managers requested a paper hearing.
"These sanctions are subject to appeal, and Thomas Tuchel's one match touchline ban has been suspended temporarily pending the independent Regulatory Commission’s written reasons for its decisions that will be made available in due course."
In his pre-match press-conference, before the news about Tuchel was confirmed, Leeds boss Jesse Marsch admitted he would be 'disappointed' if Tuchel was allowed in the dugout for the clash between the two unbeaten sides.
"I mean, if you get a red card, you're out of (the next) match," said Marsch. "I would be disappointed if they allowed him to be on the bench. There's a simple rule in football, whether it's soccer, football, I think if you get a red card, you can't play the next match."
