Chelsea and Arsenal have been told by football super agent Jorge Mendes how they can beat Manchester United to the signing of Joao Felix in the transfer window. It comes after the Red Devils have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old as a replacement for the outgoing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, 37, left the club last week after the cancellation of his contract through mutual termination after a season of difficulties. The Portugal international went on to conduct an interview with Piers Morgan, where he claimed he felt "betrayed" by the club and as though he was being pushed out.
With United in need of a striker for the long-term, reports have suggested that their attention has turned towards Felix as an option. The forward has struggled recently at Atletico Madrid, failing to hut the heights of his big-money move from Benfica just a few years ago.

The competition for the Manchester club comes from the capital in both Chelsea and Arsenal as the pair look to strengthen their squad in January. The Blues are in need of a goal scorer up front to solve their woes, while the Gunners could do with similar as well as added depth.
However, a report from Sport claims that United are among three teams willing to offer a move for Felix, including PSG and Bayern Munich. That's not to say a switch to the other two London=based clubs isn't possible though as Mendes is said to be managing offers from teams that offer roughly £85million.
It could prove to be a lot for a player who is yet to prove himself at the highest level on a consistent basis. If the interest in him is concrete though, Chelsea and Arsenal may have to move fast to deny their rivals a chance of landing their replacement for Ronaldo.
