Chelsea and Arsenal are said to have joined the race to sign young Manchester United 'superstar' Alejandro Garnacho. The 18-year-old winger has burst onto the scene at Old Trafford this season, with his electric pace and directness courting the interest of Premier League rivals.
Garnacho, who sees his deal with the Red Devils expire in 2025, has featured eight times for Erik ten Hag's side this season, directly contributing towards four goals. One of which was a dramatic late winner against Fulham in United's final clash before the World Cup, igniting fresh hope into the club.
The Argentina youth international has also provided key contributions against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup and against Real Sociedad in the Europa League. Having impressed, he's forced himself into Ten Hag's plans and looks to be the next starlet to make the jump from the academy to the first-team.

But, United could face an up-hill battle to extend Garnacho's future at the club. According to 90min, Chelsea and Arsenal have joined the race to sign the Madrid-born wonderkid.
The report states that the two London clubs face tough competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Garnacho earned his stripes as a junior in the Atletico Madrid youth setup before joining United in October 2020.
90min claim that both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are interested in the Argentine too, as are Paris Saint-Germain. However, the report adds that United are confident that Garnacho will sign a new seal at the Theatre of Dreams, with Ten Hag eager to hold onto the winger.
Speaking on talkSPORT following United's last-ditch win over Fulham, pundit Darren Ambrose branded Garnacho the next 'superstar' to come out of Carrington and somebody who can replace Cristiano Ronaldo. He said: "He is the next superstar, you've seen it.
"I tongue-in-cheek joked about [Bruno] Fernandes and Ten Hag mentioning his attitude - he’s clearly doing something right now, because he’s reaping the rewards of what he’s doing in training, in the training ground, and he looks sensational.
"When he came on in the week against Aston Villa, he changed that game as well, changed the game today. They come back on December 27 I believe, Man United v Nottingham Forest, and all they remember is in our last game we beat Fulham 2-1."
