Cheetham Hill once again has a Post Office — after new owners re-opened the old premises after more than three-and-a-half years.
The Post Office, in the King Edward Buildings on Bury Old Road, shut down in January 2019 due to ‘operational reasons’, the company said. Now, a new postmaster has taken on the building.
They have already refurbished the shop unit and will be offering the usual range of products and services in-store, a statement from the company added. It also confirmed that the re-established post office will be open 48 hours per week.

“We are delighted to have restored Post Office services to Cheetham Hill as we know how important a Post Office is to a community,” Karl Haddon, Post Office Network Lead, said. “The opening hours will make it very convenient to visit.”
The opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
