Cheeky royal kids spotted peeking out Buckingham Palace window during Jubilee parade

It seems even the royal children found themselves fully swept up in Jubilee celebrations this weekend.

A sweet set of photographs show Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four, trying to peer out the window during Sunday's festivities.

The four-day extravaganza finished on Sunday with a surprise Jubilee appearance from the Queen, who missed the last two days.

But before that engagement, it seems the Cambridge children were keen to see the huge crowds gathered on the Mall.

Despite the closed curtains, all three of the children couldn't resist taking a quick peek - although little Louis could barely see over the window sill.

During the pageant, he was pictured cheekily blowing raspberries to his mum and covering her mouth - before wandering off to sit on Prince Charles's lap.

Dressed in a bright green outfit, she waved to Brits from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, along with Prince Charles, Camilla, the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Thousands of well-wishers had gathered below on The Mall to mark the momentous occasion.

Royal fans flocked to Buckingham Palace after it was revealed that the monarch would make a surprise appearance - her third in four days.

The Royal Standard was raised above the residence to signify that the Queen was there before cheers erupted as she stepped out.

Thousands then sang God Save The Queen - as her Majesty watched on before red, white and blue smoke was fired into the air.

Before the Queen's appearance, Ed Sheeran took to the stage at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant to play his hit song Perfect.

He said getting to play at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant was a “full circle nostalgic moment” for him.

Speaking ahead of his performance on the BBC, he told Anita Rani: “For me, this is kind of like a full circle, nostalgia moment because this is the event that I picked up guitar at 20 years ago after seeing Eric Clapton playing on stage.

“And then I got to play it 10 years ago for the Diamond Jubilee. It’s really really nice to be back, it’s just a great atmosphere here.”

The singer described the event as a “pinch yourself” moment but noted that he felt “great” ahead of taking to the stage.
