One savvy Edinburgh seller has taken advantage of national outcry after it was announced popular soft drink Lilt is being pulled from shelves.
The drink is being discontinued by owners Coca-Cola and will instead be rebranded to Fanta pineapple and grapefruit. The tangy drink originated 1975 with the strapline "The Totally Tropical Taste" and was only sold in Ireland, the UK, Gibraltar and the Seychelles.
And now, one smart eBay seller from Edinburgh has listed a can of the tasty drink on the website, for £19 with £3.35 delivery.
In the description, the seller wrote: "One Lilt Soft Drink Can 330ml. Full. Expiry 30.11.2023."

Photos of the item show it from all angles, and confirm that it is in fact an unopened can of Lilt. This local seller wasn't the only smart one to take this idea on board, as hundreds of eBay sellers have posted listings.
One cheeky eBay seller has listed a 500ml bottle of Lilt for a whopping £1,000 on the website, calling it a "very rare" purchase.
However, in the description, the seller wrote: "This listing will be donated 100 percent to mental health research. You will receive one bottle for your donation."
So despite the expensive price tag, it seems like all the money is going a helpful cause, and not lining anyone's pockets.
One seller from Wembley has listed a 24-pack of the drink on the website, with three crates available for £24.99 each. They have sold 24 of the crates already, meaning this seller has made a profit of £599.76 on the discontinued juice.
It comes as fans of the soft drink were left devastated by news that Lilt is going to be scrapped after 50 years. The rebrand has sparked fans rush to buy cans and bottles of the original branding before they are swapped out completely.
One fan expressed unhappiness on social media and wrote: "RIP Lilt."
