Cheapest train fares from Edinburgh to Scottish beaches this Bank Holiday

The Spring Bank Holiday is the finale to the trilogy of public holidays the UK has benefited from this month.

With the May Day bank holiday and the special Coronation bank holiday already occurring this month, people will feel like they have had more Mondays off than on in May.

However, there's no complaining in having time off, and people will be planning days out and shopping trips to enjoy May 29 to its fullest.

One thing that could be a shout is a beach day - as highs of 17C and sunny skies are predicted for Monday by forecasters at BBC Weather.
