Cheapest supermarket to buy your Christmas dinner from - including where to buy your turkey

This year the cost of living has soared - and it continues to do so.

This means that for many people across the UK, finding the cheapest way to make their Christmas dinner is important as whilst some items can be cheap individually, it all adds up.

And with the cost of the Christmas food shop on top of the gifts and any decorations to fuel to get to your destination, this time of year is not exactly cheap.

So to help you out, we've decided to take a look at some supermarkets and let you know how much each shop would cost you to make the perfect meal for a family of four, with some all important left overs. Here's what we found.

Looking at some of the cheapest supermarkets, we found that with the current prices at the time of writing, Morrisons came in first place if you want to grab yourself beef this festive season with Asda coming at a close second at just 63p more expensive.

Meanwhile for those after a Turkey, the cheapest supermarket coming in at £20.06 was Aldi.

The jump in price between the cheapest and most expensive stands at £12.83 . You can see the list from cheapest to most expensive below.
