The cost of living crisis shows no sign of abating, with energy prices and tax rises top of the list of worries for millions of people around the country today.
But there's a quiet crisis happening with fuel prices, too: petrol and diesel prices are at their highest ever.
According to the RAC, the current average price of unleaded petrol is 147.44p per litre. Diesel, meanwhile, is 150.98p per litre. Both are record highs, though petrol is forecast to come down at some point. There is no forecast for diesel at present.
