Brits looking to go away on cheap holidays this year can still get a bargain - possibly one even better than before the pandemic began.
In the past three years petrol prices, mortgage rates, energy costs and even the price of fish fingers have all shot up dramatically as the world grapples with the huge disruption of a global pandemic and climate crisis.
While things are certainly tough at home and abroad, bargains remain there to be grabbed.
According to holiday company On the Beach, some trips away have buckled inflationary trends and are cheaper now than in 2019.
The firm has produced a list of four all-inclusive holidays to destinations in Spain, Turkey and Greece it considers the biggest bargains on offer.
All of them that are cheaper for the 2023 season than they were in 2019.
Top of the list was Dalaman, Turkey, where the average price of an all-inclusive, seven-night stay at the four-star Nicholas Park Hotel in Dalaman is £234 per person in 2023, a 42% decrease in average cost since 2019.
In Spain, the four-star Iberostar Cala Millor Hotel in Majorca is £200.79 per person in 2023 - a 54% decrease compared to the £437.05 price tag in 2019.
