With autumn officially here, and the warm weather coming to an end, it's the perfect time to book a sunny getaway.

Glasgow Airport flies to a number of popular destinations, but with the cost of living crisis continuing to worsen, many are unable to afford expensive holidays.

To help you plan that much-needed autumn getaway, Glasgow Live took to Skyscanner and rounded up all of the return flights from Glasgow Airport for under £50.

Here's what you need to know.

Belgium

You can book a return flight to the Belgian capital of Brussels from just £25 this October. Known for its tantalising cuisine — in particular its chocolate — and rich culture, it could make for a perfect city break this autumn.

Poland

While it's unlikely to be much warmer than Scotland, a trip to Poland is sure to lead to some great sightseeing. You can nab a return to Wrocław for only £32, where particular highlights include the historic Old Town and Rynek of Wroclaw.

Spain

If it's somewhere warmer you're after, you'll be pleased to know that you can fly out to Palma, Málaga, and Barcelona all for under £50. The former two are perfect spots for a beach getaway, while the latter is great for a city break.

France

There are plenty of destinations in France that you can fly to for under £50 this October, including Bordeaux, Paris, and Toulouse. If you've always said you wanted to visit Paris, now might be your opportunity.

Germany

While a bit pricier than the other destinations on this list, you can still jet off to Frankfurt and Nuremberg for just £50 next month. The former is perfect if it's a bustling city break you're looking for, while the latter is best known for its stunning gothic old town.
