Cheapest fuel prices in Bristol as holiday getaway continues

As schools break up for the summer holidays, families are expected to hit the road to make the most of the time off. The RAC say an estimated extra 5.61m car journeys will take place this weekend.

Leisure traffic volumes look set to peak today (Saturday, July 23) with 4.62m separate road trips but Friday and Sunday are expected to be not far behind with 4.29m separate trips on each day.

And the increase in travellers will no doubt bring a demand in fuel as drivers continue to hunt for the cheapest on the market.

The RAC’s research suggests the UK might be in line for its third big ‘staycation summer’ in a row following those caused by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, although the extremely high fuel prices might have an effect.

So with that in mind, we have compiled a list of the cheapest places to buy fuel in Bristol. We've used data from PetrolPrices, a price-comparison website that shows data for more than 8,490 petrol stations across the UK
