Whether you're after some summer sun in Turin, or keen to learn a bit of history in Gdansk, there is something for everyone on a budget.

Here is a roundup of the holiday destinations you can fly to for under £20 from Edinburgh Airport this June.

Cork, Ireland

If you're wanting a June getaway but aren't keen to spend too long in the air, the good news is that there are two gorgeous Ireland destinations available for low prices. The first, Cork, is perfect if you want to be in a small city — and costs only £13. Things to do include restored walled convent Nano Nano Place, Blarney Castle & Gardens, and The English Market.

Dublin, Ireland

For just a few more quid, you could head to the Irish capital if you're keen for a city a bit bigger. There are countless things to see and do here — from The Little Museum of Dublin to the Kilmainham Gaol Museum to the Irish Whiskey Museum. June flights can be bought for as little as £20.

Gdansk, Poland

For just £14, you could head to Poland's principal seaport. It has plenty to offer for those seeking a more educational trip away, such as the Museum of the Second World War, the historic Old Town, and the Europejskie Centrum Solidarności — a museum and library devoted to the history of Solidarity, the Polish trade union and civil resistance movement.

Brussels, Belgium

The largest city so far on this list, you can't really go wrong with Brussels — especially if you're only paying £15. There are almost too many highlights to name, but if you're headed to the Belgian capital, you need to at least check out Les Musee des Beaux-Arts d'Ixelles, Train World, and Grand Place — one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Europe.

Paris, France

This city needs no introduction. You may be surprised to see a destination as popular as Paris on this list, but it's true — you can book a return there from Edinburgh for as little as £16 this month. If you've never been, this is a perfect opportunity to see what the fuss is all about and whether the French capital lives up to the hype.

Gothenburg, Sweden

Known for its Dutch-style canals and leafy boulevards, Gothenburg is an ideal destination for people wanting to admire some natural beauty. From the Botanical Garden to the Southern Gothenburg Archipelago, there are plenty of opportunities to take some memorable snaps. The thrill-seekers out there also need to check out the Liseberg amusement park.

Turin, Italy

Turin in Northern Italy is world-renowned for its stunning architecture and cuisine, so if you consider yourself a foodie this may be the destination for you. With flights available for just £16, you wouldn't want to miss out on all its art galleries, restaurants, churches, palaces, and more.

Riga, Latvia

This month, £16 could also buy you a return trip to the capital of Latvia. Like many of the cities on this list, its teeming with gorgeous architecture and historic districts. Old City Riga, the Central Market, and Riga Town Hall Square are all must-sees, as is the KGB Museum if you want to learn something.
