Cheap Ryanair and Easyjet flights you can get from Bristol Airport right now

With lockdown continuing to ease, holidays are now back on the agenda for millions of Brits wanting a bit of summer sun.

Of course, the government's traffic light system means we're somewhat restricted as to where we can go, and even then some green list countries aren't currently allowing tourists to enter.

However, the green list is due to be reviewed in the first week of June and every three weeks thereafter, so the number of potential destinations could expand.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at some of the cheapest Easyjet and Ryanair flights currently available from Bristol Airport, should you be looking for inspiration.

For the purposes of this exercise, we've used Easyjet's Inspire Me tool and Ryanair's Fare Finder to search for the cheapest destinations for approximately week-long holidays this summer. The prices listed are per person for return trips but exclusive of other fees, such as for baggage or taxes.

And do bear in mind that not all of these are green list countries at present.

Cheap flights from Bristol Airport with Ryanair and Easyjet

On the whole, Ryanair seems to offer some of the cheaper options. If you're not too fussy with dates, you can fly to Barcelona (Spain), Budapest (Hungary), Dublin (Ireland), Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw, Warsaw (all Poland), Kaunas (Lithuania), or Limoges (France) for just £10 return.

Another £4 and you can get to Valencia (Spain) or Beziers (France) and back, or for £16 total you can go to Ibiza (Spain) or Vienna (Austria).

If you're willing to spend £20 per person, Ryanair will take you from Bristol to Cologne (Germany), Knock (Ireland), Milan, Venice (both Italy), or Palma (Majorca, Spain). Bargain.

Easyjet is a little more expensive. For a week-long trip this summer, the cheapest holiday from Bristol we can find is £39, to Palma in July. For £41 you can get to Milan and back, or for £42 you can jet off to Alicante (Spain).

If you've got a spare £45 to spend per person, Easyjet will take you to Malaga, Bilbao, Madrid (all Spain) or Prague (Czech Republic).
