Charlotte Dawson says late dad Les is 'sending signs' after heartbreaking miscarriage

Charlotte Dawson thinks her late dad Les is sending her signs after she suffered a miscarriage earlier this year.

The Ex On The Beach star, 29, found out she was pregnant on Mother's Day, but was "heartbroken beyond words" to announce she had lost her baby at 10 weeks.

Now, Charlotte believes her father - legendary comedian Les Dawson - is offering her comfort.

Recalling a 'strange' encounter, she said: “Something weird happened to me. I was at home and I looked outside, and there was a pink balloon which just fell onto our balcony.

“It said the word ‘Princess’ on it. I felt freaked out. I really want a girl. I don’t know whether it could be a sign saying our baby was a little girl, or maybe we have a girl on the way.

“I feel like it was a message from my dad. I feel like he’s been with me throughout all of this.”

Charlotte added she feels like Les, who passed away in 1993, is now with her "angel baby", admitting the thought gives her a "lot of comfort", she told OK!

The reality TV star, who has an 18-month-old son Noah with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield, broke the tragic news of her miscarriage on Instagram.

She told her followers at the time: “It’s been an extremely tough week mentally but also obviously physically… I am heartbroken beyond words.. and I know I’m never quiet on here, & always so open and honest with you guys so it’s been a shock to you all.

"I keep getting lots & lots of messages worrying about us all, asking why I’m being quiet & if Noah is ok.. Noah is absolutely fine.. he’s amazing. I’m the one that’s not ok.. unfortunately I’ve suffered with a miscarriage."

"Sometimes it’s just not meant to be, I really thought it was but it just wasn’t this time. Miscarriages are so common & not spoke about enough. We are so heartbroken right now have no words."

Charlotte's heartbreaking post was met with a flurry of support from her fans with many praising the mum-of-one for her honesty.

Charlotte now says at some point she would like to try for another baby, saying she'd love a little girl and "might have baby number two cooking by Christmas".
