Charlotte Dawson was all smiles as she stepped out at a star-studded event as she revealed she's hoping to lose weight for her 30th birthday. The mum-of-one looked fabulous as she attended the launch of a new aesthetics clinic in Manchester.
The former Celebs Go Dating and Ex on the Beach star wowed in a black and white patterned wrap dress with stylish trouser boots as she posed for snaps. In a frank video post on her Instagram Stories, Charlotte said she had probably put a stone on following a holiday in Rome and being injured in a scooter accident.
At the end of August she shared snaps of her bloodied and swollen face and bandaged head on her Instagram as she explained that she had fallen of a scooter after losing control. The mum-of-one, who has a toddler son Noah born in January 2021, said she wants to lose 'a couple of pounds' for her special day on October 3 after enjoying her favourite foods while in Italy.

She said into the camera: "I've been on holiday. When you got to Rome you can't not eat loads of pasta and pizza. You're in bloody Italy. Italian is my favourite food."
She added: "I was in my element and also the accident has really thrown me. I've got to be careful with my diabetes. I need to get back on it now. I want to lose a couple of pounds."
Charlotte, who is engaged to rugby player Matthew Sarsfield, said she wanted to feel 'a million dollars' in her birthday outfit. "I've tried a couple of dresses on and none of them fit me right now," she said.
In January Charlotte, the daughter of the late Manchester comedian Les Dawson, said she'd never felt "more happier, healthier and confident" after reportedly losing four stone after changing her lifestyle. And she clapped back after being told "you're only funny when you're fat" by trolls.
Comical gurned for the camera like her famous dad as she blasted on social media: "Those t*** Ed’s who say now I’ve lost all the spare timber I’m not funneh any more. What’s wrong with you? Are you saying if my dad had been skinny he wouldn’t have been funny?! It takes more than a bit of blubber to make someone laff ffs!"
Charlotte underwent an overhaul after she was warned that her diet risked her developing Type 2 diabetes, the same condition battled by her national treasure dad who passed away when she was a baby. She was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with Noah, a common condition that affects one in 20 pregnant women.
She believed the condition was just part of her pregnancy and returned to her usual diet including her favourite chips and gravy after giving birth. But Charlotte was told to clean up her diet during a trip to the doctor after she felt 'a bit funny'.
Charlotte looked on top form as she attended the launch of CLNQ at Deansgate Square with Hollyoaks stars Jennifer Metcalfe and Chelsee Heeley and Manchester radio star Chelsea Norris.
