Charlotte Crosby opens up about 'hard' pregnancy - as first time mum journey begins

Charlotte Crosby has revealed symptoms and qualms she has been suffering during her pregnancy, carrying her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers.

The former Geordie Shore star announced her long-anticipated pregnancy last month on social media, and has returned to fill in her loyal followers with her joyful experiences so far. However, it hasn't all been blue skies and plain sailing for the reality TV star - who has also voiced her new found struggles on social media.

The Mirror reports that while posting a photo of herself looking fed up, the 32-year-old gave her 7.8 million followers a ‘PREGNANCY UPDATE.’

She said: ‘ HEARTBURN decided to POP UP this week and it looks like it’s sticking around. On top of that my sickness has crept back in with a vengeance,” followed by a sick face emoji.

She continued: “I’ve admitted defeat with that part to be honest. I’m not wishing for it to go away now. I’ve just accepted it.

“MY HORMONES my god don’t even get me started.

“I feel such a mess and really really exhausted. Mix that with a busy schedule and never being home is just a recipe for disaster.”

Gushing about boyfriend Jake, Charlotte said: “Jake is literally the most caring and attentive human to have ever walked the earth and without him this week I actually would of crumbled. I KNOW THIS IS ALL GUNNA BE WORTH IT!!!

“To have our little baba in our arms and start our new chapter of family life just makes our heart complete! But pregnancy can be a hard old journey can’t it?!”

Asking her Instagram followers for advice, Charlotte wrote: “Please any mamas or soon to be mamas relate?! When did your sickness end? Best things for heartburn?!

“Do you go back to a normal non raging ball of anger when the baby arrives and start being nice and living again to everyone around you? Did anyone else’s appetite just completely weird out and just find you never actually knew what you fancied and wanted to eat?"

Fans were quick to comment below with tips and some even shared their own experiences.

One said: “My sickness lasted until 18 weeks and only stopped because I asked Dr’s for tablets to help as I had to accept defeat. Pregnancy is HARD and it’s not talked about enough x.”

Another wrote: “Welcome to motherhood! The heartburn and morning sickness will go away yes but the hormones will just be next level when the baby is born.

“You will never go back to 'normal' it’s 100% all worth it but tell Jake to hang on tight he’s in for a ride.”

A third told Charlotte she should buy some “Gaviscon in all forms” to help with her heartburn.

The fan wrote: “Kept it in my handbag, by the side of the bed... anywhere I was going it came with me and it really works. That and weirdly smint mints haha.”
