The birth of Charlotte Crosby's baby daughter was captured by BBC cameras, with the scenes shown in one of the latest episodes of her new series Charlotte in Sunderland.
BEfore the fly on the wall show had even made its debut on BBC Three and iPlayer, Geordie Shore favourite Charlotte said that the programme would be the 'most personal' TV project she'd taken on in her 12 year career to date. In one of the early episodes of Charlotte in Sunderland, the 32-year-old let cameras into her home as she and her family came to terms with mam Letitia's breast cancer diagnosis, as well as well as Charlotte sharing the news that she and boyfriend Jake Ankers were expecting a child together with the whole world.
Last year, Charlotte was also left devastated by the death of her nana Jean, who Alba Jean is named after, and in the final episode of Charloitte in Sunderland, that was made available to watch on BBC iPlayer on Wednesday, she was seen giving birth to her little girl, as Jake (and a camera crew!) joined her for the life changing moment, which Charlotte feared would never happen after she suffered an ectopic pregnancy, that left her own life in danger, back in 2016.
AFter fans got a look at Alba Jan's birth on screen, CHarlotte took to Instagram to share just how much it meant to be her to document Alba coming in the world, with the ex Celebrity Big Brother winner also reliving the emotions of the day itself.
Sharing snapshots from her baby daughter's birth and confirming the end of Charlotte in Sunderland, Charlotte wrote: "The day we met out Alba Jeaniews will remain the most special day of my entire life! I think all parents will agree what a feeling! I would redo that whole birthing experience every single day over and over again."
She added: "And the fact that I got to watch it all on Charlotte in Sunderland yesterday yesterday, well wow goosebumps absolutely EVERYWHERE!"
CHarlotte also thanked fans for the incredible support they'd given Charlotte and her family after one of the toughest but most important years of their lives, describing the reaction as 'mind blowing.'
