Charlotte Crosby asks 'how old is my child?' as she sparks debate with partner Jake Ankers

Charlotte Crosby sparked what could have been an interesting debate with her social media followers if they weren't quick to side with her partner Jake Ankers. The new mum was left asking 'how old is my child?' as she got into a conversation with her other half about their baby girl's age.

The loved-up couple welcomed their bundle of joy, a baby girl named Alba Jean, into the world in October 2022 after Charlotte, 32, revealed that she was pregnant in April of the same year following weeks of speculation from her fans. Charlotte and Jake Ankers started dating in 2021 after she split from her former partner Liam Beaumont.

Charlotte was recently defended by her fans after airing intimate footage of her giving birth on her new BBC show. Charlotte returned to TV with her brand new series Charlotte in Sunderland. The 10-part programme followed Charlotte's return to her home city of Sunderland as she navigated her new life as a first-time mum. The series also showcased her relationship with her boyfriend Jake Ankers, 31, as well as her mum Letitia's devastating breast cancer diagnosis and the death of her beloved grandma Jean.

Charlotte has also been posting updates on social media on her motherhood journey with plenty of cute images of her daughter. And in her latest Instagram Story, the former Geordie Shore star was seen addressing her followers in the car as she said: "How can this be so confusing? So this is the problem that I woke up and I need to ask your advice.

"I don't at this point know how old my child is because I am counting in weeks. And if it was in weeks, she is literally almost six months." Chiming in from the drivers seat, Jake said: "So you've just answered your own question!" But Charlotte shut him down and continued on.

"No, no, no, because if you count in months, like you're wanting to do, she's only five months and one week," the Celebrity Big Brother star continued. "How, how are they both different answers if you go with months or if you go in weeks?" Claiming they were going with 23 weeks, Charlotte asked her fans to tell her how old her daughter was and set up a poll with two options: "I count weeks," or "I count months."

In the next clip, the mum-of-one was having a tongue-in-cheek spat with Jake as he shook his head at her antics after fans replied to her saying they agreed with Jake and that she is five months old. "Let's just say all the answers looked a lot like this..." she wrote alongside some screenshots.

In another video, Charlatte was heard saying: "No Jake, get your poxy birth calculator out of this car now," as her other half climbed out of the car. But as he did, he cheekily fired back: "Sorry, how old are you? I'm 4,082 weeks old!"

Charlotte has recently opened up about her identity since becoming a mum and having her lip fillers dissolved. While the reality star describes her daughter as the best thing to ever happen to her, she admitted that she’s lost confidence in herself since welcoming Alba into the world.

Speaking to New, as reported by OK! Magazine, Charlotte said: "I was a lot more confident when I had fillers. It’s really noticeable, to the point where it affects me and I don’t feel confident in front of the cameras. I don’t like it. I’m struggling to come to terms with having smaller lips. Getting them dissolved is not worth how I feel. I feel self-conscious and it’s not nice to feel like that."

She then went on to say: “I’ve just had a baby and I’m a stone and a half heavier, so I probably dissolved them at a really bad time. I feel bigger, so by shrinking my lips, it’s made me feel like my face is even bigger. When you have a baby, your body changes and you have these battles with your image. It’s an awful time. Dissolving my lips at that point was not a good idea, but I couldn’t have walked around with them that big. It was a catch-22."
