Charlotte Church has returned to social media for the first time in over a month to share a stunning snap with her Instagram followers. The Welsh singer's image of a "beautiful" snowy landscape quickly caught the attention of her fans who were left in awe.
The 37-year-old let the picture do the talking as she left the caption blank. In it she can be seen walking towards the camera with a little one on her shoulders and breathtaking wintry scenery in the background.
With the sun just visible through the fog, the picture shows snow-capped fields and hedgerows as far as the eye can see. Snowflakes fall in the serene snap until the trees disappear into the mist.
"Looks like heaven," wrote one fan, while another simply added: "Winter wonderland."
"What a stunning photo," said a third, while a fourth commented: "Beautiful Wales."
And the comments just kept coming as another added: "Very picturesque Charlotte," as one follower wrote: "Wowwww," followed by snowflake and snowmen emojis.
The stunning snap comes after a busy time for Charlotte, the Welsh star appeared in Michael McIntyre's The Wheel on BBC One on Saturday, March 11 and also featured on Channel 4's Kathy Burke: Growing Up documentary.
During the interview, the 37-year-old, who hails from Cardiff, discussed how she was thrust into the spotlight as a schoolgirl. "I was 12 and then everything went totally bananas. For the first two years, it was a perfect little fairy story." You can read more about the interview here. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
