Charlie Sheen's neighbour arrested after she 'tried to choke' actor in his home

Charlie Sheen's neighbour has been arrested after allegedly attacking the Two And A Half Men actor after she forced their way into his home.

The LA Sheriff Department (LASD) scrambled to the actor's home on Wednesday after a woman forced her way into Sheen's house and tried to "choke him", according to TMZ.

The incident began at around 1pm after Sheen reportedly heard a knock at the door and went to answer, before the woman burst into his Malibu home.

Electra Schrock, 47, is also said to have ripped his shirt during the altercation.

Sheen called 911 and law enforcement officials and paramedics arrived at the scene, but he did not require hospital treatment.

Schrock was arrested in her own home and was due to appear in court on Friday in connection with the offences, which include assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.

The neighbour is alleged to have previously squirted a "sticky liquid" onto Sheen's car and dumped rubbish on his doorway the day before the alleged attack.

Sheen, who comes from an acting dynasty including father Martin Sheen, 83, and older brother Emilio Estevez, 61, is said to have believed that things were civil between him and the neighbour, having discussed their issues after the car incident and come to an understanding.

"Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault," the LA County Sheriff’s Department said.

Electra Schrock was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury and residential burglary.

The Standard has contacted a representative for Charlie Sheen for comment.
