Charlie Bird has revealed that he still cries every day - but they're tears of love and joy, as the fundraising total for Climb With Charlie flew past €750,000.
The former RTÉ reporter is set to scale Croagh Patrick this Saturday alongside a whole host of famous faces such as Ryan Tubridy, Daniel O'Donnell, Matt Molloy and Joanne O'Riordan.
At the same time, hundreds of other organised climbs will be taking place around Ireland, with all proceeds set to go to the Irish Motor Nuerone's Association and Pieta.

Taking to his Twitter account on Monday night, Charlie revealed that an astonishing €750,000 had been raised so far, before the main climb even happens.
He wrote: "We are just days away from Climbwithcharlie on Saturday. We have already raised three quarters of a million euro.
"Every day I cry now. I have been told it is one of the symptoms of my MND. But much of the tears are because of the love I am feeling from everyone across the country."
In a separate message, Charlie thanked a member of the public for yet another generous donation ahead of this weekend's climb.
He explained: "Hi I would like to give a big thank you to Adrian from McGing Taxi and Mini Bus who are making sure that all our family and friends get to the Reek on time for the big climb on Saturday.
"Another powerful example of extending the hand of friendship from the people of Westport."
The highest point of Croagh Patrick is a whopping 764 metres (or 2,507 feet).
Charlie, along with his celebrity friends and the hundreds of others that will don their hiking boots, is set to start his journey on Saturday morning, with the hopes that he will be able to complete the mission by the time the sun sets.
