Charli XCX and Kesha join forces for Spring Breakers remix

Kesha is jumping on the 'Brat' trend with Charli XCX's latest remix

Charli XCX and Kesha are dropping the 'Spring Breakers' remix on Monday (14.10.24).

On Sunday (13.10.24), a video was posted on a fan account for the 'Apple' hitmaker of a truck with a giant screen teasing the release of the 'Brat' remix featuring the 'Tik Tok' hitmaker.

Both stars have been teasing the release on social media.

Charli posted to X: "spring breakers remix w @KeshaRose tomorrow!"

Kesha also posted a graphic of her name in reverse in the 'Brat' green album cover style and tagged the '360' hitmaker.

Charli's 'Brat' era has produced a plethora of remixes featuring the biggest stars on the planet.

The pop star just dropped the 'Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat' LP featuring the likes of Ariana Grande, The 1975, Bon Iver, Lorde, Robyn, Troye Sivan and Billie Eilish.

Describing a Brat girl, Charli said: “That girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things sometimes. Who feels herself but maybe also has a breakdown.

“But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like does dumb things. But it’s Brat. You’re Brat. That’s Brat.”

The album was nominated for this year's Mercury Prize, losing out to English Teacher's 'This Could Be Texas'.

Kesha teaming with Charli comes as she prepares to drop a new album in 2025.

It will mark the singer’s first record as an independent artist after she announced her own record label, Kesha Records, in partnership with ADA.

The lead single, ‘Joyride’, was released back in July.

Kesha split from Kemosabe and Vector Management in December last year, six months after settling lawsuits with former producer and label owner Dr. Luke.

Her 2023 record 'Gag Order' was the last LP to come as part of her Kemosabe and RCA deal.

Back in March, she wrote on X: "First day I’ve owned my voice in 19 years. Welcome."
