Charles Barkley shot down Gabe Vincent when he tried to be humble about the bumbling Celtics

Fresh off a resounding 128-102 win, the Miami Heat are busily humbling the Boston Celtics en route to another Eastern Conference title.

With Miami now one win away from the NBA Finals, one of their essential role players, Gabe Vincent, joined the Inside the NBA crew after Game 3 Sunday night to discuss what lies ahead. Even after dropping 29 points in a blowout, Vincent was ever the respectful competitor when asked about how the Celtics might fight back to save their season in Game 4.

After watching Boston barely show up with its season unofficially on the line, Charles Barkley hilariously had none of Vincent’s humble answer deferring to the Celtics.

Incredible. No notes. You also have to appreciate how Vincent laughs at Barkley’s response, knowing it’s true — the Celtics threw in the towel — but just knowing he can’t say things like that himself as an active player.

We’ve got another moment of gold from one of the best NBA shows on TV.
