Charles and Camilla 'wearied' by Harry and Meghan's attacks ahead of Netflix bombshell

The King and Queen Consort are growing weary from the constant accusations being leveled at the Royal Family by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, insiders have revealed.

Sources at Buckingham Palace last night told how there is growing frustration with Harry and Meghan ahead of the couple's bombshell Netflix documentary which is set to drop this week.

Tensions are climbing even higher as royal insiders claimed that the release of a dramatic new trailer for the documentary was deliberately timed to coincide with William and Kate's US trip, which concluded on Thursday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were said to be "surprised but not that surprised" about the timing of the release, as William prepared to host his glamourous Earthshot prize-winners gala in Boston.

Another source said that, typically, if a member of the Royal Family is on an important foreign engagement then "no one else back home would seek to disrupt the message of that trip".

The Prince and Princess of Wales were said to be "sanguine" ahead of the documentary being released.

Topics expected to be covered in the Netflix show include Harry's therapy following the death of Diana and his father's affair with Camilla.

But perhaps the chief subject set to be explored surrounds accusations of racism in the Royal Family - something Harry and Meghan alleged in their shock interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Royal sources told the Daily Mail that King Charles and Queen Camilla are "not worried but wearied" by the repeated allegations made about 'The Firm'.

They added that "magnanimous and very deliberate gestures" had been made to include Harry as much as possible in the late Queen's funeral in September, including asking him to don his military uniform during a family vigil around his grandmother's coffin.

Palace insiders were also keen to point out the irony in the Sussexes media appearances given their desire to stay out of the public eye.

Since the Oprah interview, Meghan has started a podcast and Harry has penned a memoir - thought to include many grievances about his family - which is due for release next month.

"It is very wearying," a palace source said.

Meanwhile, Prince William is said to be running low on patience for his brother.

Sources say William is growing tired of the long-standing royal mantra "never complain, never explain" and will personally urge Harry to "back off" if material contained in the new docuseries is deemed false or misleading.

Palace officials are reportedly set to mount a briefing war and issue a swift rebuttal to any dubious claims made in the new show.

A well-placed source told the Express: "The Prince and Princesses’ team will wait to see what’s in the Netflix series before deciding what to do, but you can see the direction of travel.”
