The final moments of the Queen were reportedly spent with her eldest children at her bedside. Queen Elizabeth II sadly passed away yesterday afternoon (Thursday, September 8) at age 96.
Members of the royal family spent the day rushing to Balmoral after recieving news of her deteriorating condition, and it has been reported that the Queen was with the now King Charles and Princess Anne, Princess Royal, when she passed away reports The Daily Mirror.
The MailOnline was told that the royal siblings had both been in Scotland this week, which is how they were able to reach the estate in time for them to say goodbye.

A number of senior royals were sadly not able to be there with her. It is understood that the Queen died before Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex arrived at Balmoral in the afternoon.
According to her official spokesman, Prime Minister Liz Truss was informed of the monarch's death at 4:30pm. Whilst the plane carrying Prince William, the Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex only landed at Aberdeen airport at 3:50pm.
Later in the evening Prince Harry arrived at Balmoral in a suit and black tie, after flying to Aberdeen alone. He and Meghan were due to attend a charity event in London, but changed their plans due to the Queen's ill health.
Buckingham Palace released a statement just after 6:30pm to confirm the death of Queen Elizabeth II. King Charles will return to London today (Friday, September 9), where he will meet the Prime Minister, discuss plans for the Queen's funeral, and he is also expected to record a speech.
Commemorative displays to mark the Queen's passing, including gun salutes, will also take place at various locations in London.
