Loose Women's Charlene White orders co-star Linda Robson to 'get help' after nasty accidents

Charlene White strongly urged her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson to seek medical help, after the Birds of a Feather actress recalled a nasty accident she had involving an electric scooter.

Having hosted the show earlier in the week, ITV news anchor Charlene was back as the head of the panel as the lunchtime discussion show broadcast its fourth live show of the week, which saw her joined by Linda, as well as colleagues Denise Welch and Kelly Holmes. Charlene began proceedings by addressing the concerning news which broke late on Wednesday night, about music megastar Madonna being rushed to intensive care with a serious bacterial infection, resulting in her postponing the start of her Celebration tour.

That led to a discussion on whether the Loose Women panel were guilty of pushing themselves 'too hard' and how easy they found it to prioritise their own health. That led to Linda saying she found it hard to have enough 'me time,' as she liked to be looking after other people, before going onto tell her co-stars, that she'd had a few accidents involving her knees, one when she was filming Celebrity Coach Trip where she "really, really hurt" her knees and another on a family day out.

The latter ended up being particularly nasty, as Linda having a go on an electric scooter ended up with painful consequences. Revealing what happened, Linda explained: "I turned the handle and it was electric, so I ran over my nephew's girlfriend leg, ended up on my knees, with my bottom in the air, my legs over my head and everyone in the restaurant could see it."

While her telling of the story was funny, Linda went onto say that her knees had 'never been the same' since and she had to use a bannister to assist her every time she walks up the stairs in the Loose Women studio. That prompted Charlene to reply: "All of that stuff has happened, have you been to help?" Linda told her: "No, because I haven't had time. If it was something life threatening I would be at the doctors straight away."

After Denise told her: "But it can be life limiting," Charlene then got on at Linda again, wrapping things up by saying: "The message is that you have to look after yourself, both emotionally and physically. And Linda, I expect you to have made an appointment for the X-ray, by the time I see you again next week," adding: "That's me done telling off Linda."
