Two people have been charged as part of a probe into alleged drug trafficking on the dark web.

Officers have been investigating over 150 parcels allegedly containing LSD and cannabis sent from post boxes in Melbourne's southeast linked to a dark web vendor.

On Wednesday, search warrants were carried out at properties in Cranbourne, Narre Warren and Cranbourne North.

Victoria Police found firearms, drugs, cash and cryptocurrency data at the first two properties.

A Cranbourne man, 42, was charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of LSD, trafficking cannabis, possessing proceeds of crime and other offences.

A Narre Warren woman, 39, was charged with possessing cannabis, MDMA, LSD and THC in addition to possessing proceeds of crime.

A Cranbourne North man, 67, was released without charge after being interviewed.
