The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs this season. There are, though, some former Cardinals players on teams who are in the postseason.
The first matchup of the wild card round of the NFL playoffs features the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans.
Their game kicks off Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET from NRG Stadium in Houston and airs on CBS.
The Chargers are favored in the game.
Between the Chargers and Texans, two former Cardinals players are on their rosters.
Former Cardinals on the Chargers
- S Tony Jefferson: Jefferson played for the Cardinals from 2013-2016 as a key part of their secondary.
Former Cardinals on the Texans
- CB Kris Boyd
Boyd signed with the Cardinals as a free agent in 2023 but played only four games before he was released.
He played all 17 games this season for the Texans as a core special teamer. He played 365 special teams snaps and 48 on defense.
