Dublin Fire Brigade are urging people not to charge their devices overnight after rushing to a house fire.
They believe the blaze was caused by a charger left plugged in. Thankfully the family heard the fire alarm go off and they were able to escaped unharmed.
Firefighters from Tallaght and Rathfarnham rushed to the scene with the house being left smoke damaged from the incident. Photos show a plug completely burnt to a crisp with the wall behind the charger also burnt.

Dublin Fire Bridgade tweeted: "Firefighters from Tallaght and Rathfarnham were called to a house fire overnight which appears to have been caused by a charger.
"The family were alerted by their smoke alarm and were unharmed. The house was smoke damaged. We appeal to people not to charge devices overnight."
