Chapters Bookstore opens beautiful new garden store cafe

A family-owned garden-cafe has opened its first urban outlet on the first floor of Chapters today.

Arboretum Urban Green spans an impressive 14,000 sq. ft, on the first floor of the well-known bookstore. In addition to plants, garden accessories, furniture, a wellness and gifting department, the store will also offer an all-day dining menu at its 60-seater cafe.

This is the third outlet for the business, which was founded in 1977 by the high-profile horticulturist Rachel Doyle in Co Carlow and is now being run by her two sons Barry and Fergal.

Today, products on sale include a wide range of unusual and distinctive indoor plants, gardening tools, seeds, bulbs, treatments, garden furniture and a range of outdoor living accessories

Chapters chief Mick Finucane said: “Arboretum have heritage; they are family owned, independent and share values and ethos with Chapters about what is important in life and how to make living worthwhile and joyful.
