Chaotic Incident Unfolds On Dallas Freeway During Morning Rush

Traffic moves along a freeway as vehicles travel towards Los Angeles

A violent and chaotic incident unfolded on Tuesday morning during rush hour traffic on the LBJ Freeway in Dallas. The incident involved a Plano man, 26-year-old Angel Zamora Moreno, who allegedly triggered a series of violent events that shocked witnesses and motorists.

According to reports, Moreno's rampage began when he sideswiped several cars and an 18-wheeler, disabling his own vehicle. When motorists stopped to assess the damage, Moreno reportedly retrieved an 8-inch fixed-blade knife from his trunk and began attacking people.

Witnesses described Moreno jumping on a driver's windshield and causing damage before escalating the situation further. Moreno then allegedly hijacked multiple vehicles, including a TxDOT truck, and ran over a medical professional who had stopped to help an injured worker.
