Chantelle Cameron adopting 'cool head, hot kitchen' mantra for Katie Taylor clash

Chantelle Cameron is confident she'll be able to keep her cool in a red-hot atmosphere on Saturday evening.

The defending undisputed lightweight champion will be deep inside enemy territory when she takes on Katie Taylor at the 3Arena this evening.

A sold-out crowd will be backing hometown hero Taylor all the way and are sure to give Cameron plenty of stick throughout the fight. Cameron isn't worried mind, and revealed her four-word mantra for keeping calm in such situations.

"Cool head, hot kitchen."

Tonight represents a chance for Cameron to become a superstar. She already has the accolades and skills to boot, all that's missing is a statement win to crown an incredible career.

All eyes are on Taylor as she fights on home soil for the first time as a professional, and Cameron has somewhat flown under the radar.

Which is just the way she likes it.

I quite like it. I'm quite a shy person really. When I was in Abu Dhabi (For her most recent fight), I said it was the best week because I had no hassle. I was away from everyone and was just able to get on with the fight. I do prefer it.

And while she has gone against tradition and changed plenty of things for the biggest fight of her life, Cameron is still confident she can get the job done and secure a life-changing victory.
