TV crews are looking for people who have purchased a "fixer upper" to feature on a prime-time programme.
Producers for Channel 4's Worst House on The Street are looking for people to take part in its second series from Liverpool and Merseyside. On the show brother-and-sister property developers Scarlette and Stuart Douglas help families transform their run-down houses into dream homes without blowing the bank.
In the first series of the programme, Scarlette and Stuart met Paula, 42, who bought a property in Newton near West Kirby. The house was on the market for £215,000 and the mum-of-three put an offer in for £205,000 which was accepted.

Paula got the property reduced further as she found problems with water damage, including a "creek running under the house" and damp. The 42-year-old eventually bought the house for £202,000.
When presenters and property experts Scarlette and Stuart Douglas visited the 1900 three-bedroom home, they said it was "about as inviting as a prickly holly bush" at the home. People living on the same road described the house as an "eyesore" and said it hadn't been updated in half a century.
Paula said the work which needed to be done on the house was a "challenge." On the Channel 4 programme, it showed how Paula's house was transformed.
She said she had a £20,000 budget and her dad, who is a retired builder, would be helping with a lot of the work. The 42-year-old did go overbudget and for the whole transformation she spent a total of £36,629.
After speaking to three different estate agents, the house now has an average value of £317,000, which meant Paula made £78,000 profit. Now, TV crews are looking for more people to take part in the new series.
At this stage in the process of making the programme, Channel 4 is looking for participants that have either just purchased their home (or are close to purchasing) and about to begin their renovation process, which must be completed within the filming timeframe of January 2023 to May 2023.
