Gogglebox fans are always left delighted whenever Welsh couple Dave and Shirley appear on the Friday night show. Viewers have fallen in love with their Welsh accent and quips, and there's never a dull moment when they're on screen as they often have funny comments to make.
Although it might not be Friday, Shirley is still keeping fans of the show entertained. If you were not aware, today, March 2, is World Book Day, which is often commemorated by schoolchildren donning the outfits of their favourite book characters.
Shirley might be 66, but that hasn't stopped her from getting involved in the fun. Yesterday, the Caerphilly resident took to Instagram to share a bee-utiful snap of her wearing some very unusual looking uniform.

Posting a picture of her dressed up as a bee in the window of the charity shop she works at, Shirley said: "Busy bee #Gogglebox shirley #nationalbookmonth ime bizy bizy doing nothing xx"
Shirley has not posted about her job before on her and Dave's joint account, but some fans in the comments mentioned that they had bumped into her before at work. Mark Allen commented: "Went to Wales last yr and saw this lady Shirley in a charity shop working, she was so friendly and chatty was saying to us about Dave at home decorating, such a lovely lady #welovegogglebox x"
Michelle Louise said: "Is that the charity shop you volunteer in... I met you on your way there one day last July as you got off the bus in town. I was with my children and little black pug dog. My kids still talk about you x"
Meanwhile, a lot of fans could not get enough of Shirley's sweet costume. Karen applauded Shirley, saying: "Only you could look fabulous in a bee costume!!"
Angela commented: "Well done as dressing up for a bumblebee for book week. You rocked that outfit xx"
During an episode of Gogglebox in November last year, Shirley revealed some of the unusual items that have been donated to the charity shop to Dave. According to WalesOnline, Shirley said: "In the shop this week we had this collar...
"I thought it was a dog's lead so I thought I'd put it out for a pound. I thought it was for like a Chihuahua.
"So one of the volunteers come [sic] running in and says: 'Who put this out?' I said: 'I did.'
"She said: 'Well, it's not for a dog.' It was for a man's penis apparently!"
Dave replied: "Freaking hell! Who drops that off in a shop?" To which Shirley responded: "I don't know but that's not the only thing we've had – we've had dildos and everything.
"We've had a pink dildo. We've had loads of things in there – sheep, blown-up sheep, half a bottle of vodka, and a pair of handcuffs. In the same bag!"
Gogglebox returns to our screens on Friday, March 4, at 9pm on Channel 4.
