Channel 4's television programme Changing Rooms is offering free home makeovers for people in Bristol.
The programme, which sees two sets of homeowners from the same neighbourhood work against the clock with interior designers to renovate a room in each other’s houses, is recruiting people in our city. A post written on a local Facebook group today (March 7) said: "Calling all Bristol Parents! Does your home need a makeover? Is your bedroom bland, living room lacklustre, dining room dull or office space a mess?
"Changing Rooms (Channel 4) is back! The television series follows neighbours, friends or relatives as they renovate a room in each other's homes with the help of professional interior designers." The programme is presented by Anna Richardson, and is headed up by a team which includes designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and design duo Russell Whitehead and Jordan Cluroe.

The show originally started off on BBC Two in 1996 before moving to BBC One from 1998 until 2004. It then stopped being shown for 17 years before being rebooted, and new episodes began airing again on Channel 4 in 2021.
Changing Rooms is known for having hosted some major design mishaps in the past, including a participant whose collection of rare teapots was suspended on floating shelves before the shelves collapsed and destroyed all £6,000-worth of crockery.
