Channel 4's A Place in the Sun buyer finds 'miracle' home but there's a catch

A Place in the Sun presenter Leah Charles-King left a potential buyer "speechless" during Thursday's show.

Kim was looking for a two-bedroom property within walking distance to the beach, ideally with access to a pool. She had a budget of £115,000, and had brought her younger sister Debbie along to help with the search in Spain's Costa del Sol.

As they began looking for a holiday home she could enjoy with her family, Leah showed Kim and Debbie a two-bedroom apartment in Torre del Mar. Debbie loved the interior but wasn't impressed with the outdoor space.

She said "you go out onto the balcony and you're literally looking at a wall". Ruling it out, she said: "It just feels too closed off".

Next up was a ground floor apartment with spit-level patio in Caleta de Velez. On the market for just over £133,000, it had two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom.

Kim was not keen on the décor, with Leah admitting her potential buyer seemed "underwhelmed". Kim said it was a contender but didn't seem convinced, asking for a property with a sea view.

So when the third home was a stone's throw from the beach, Kim admitted she was "speechless". She told Leah: "You've pulled off a miracle here, you've pulled a rabbit out of the hat".

The two bedroom apartment had a 'compact' kitchen (Channel 4)

Kim and Debbie took a look inside and found the master bedroom to be sizeable and with a great view. However, they soon found "the compromise".

The property's kitchen was very compact. Kim said: "It's small", with Debbie adding: "But it's functional".
