A husband and wife who were rushed to Queen's Medical Centre after a high speed crash are to appear in the latest episode of 24 Hours in A&E. Episode seven of the Channel 4 series, which was filmed in Nottingham, follows the theme of people depending on loved ones.
Among the people to feature are 46-year-old Sara and her husband Glen, who was driving when they were involved in a car crash. Doctors have concerns for Sara’s serious head and chest injuries, whilst their daughter, Lauren, waits anxiously at home.
The show hears how important her mum was for her as she tried to come to terms with the trauma of the Manchester Arena bombing. Meanwhile, 54-year-old Simon attends the emergency department after falling off his bike on his way to buy a helmet.
