Channel 4's 24 Hours in A&E finishes filming second series at Queen's Medical Centre

24 Hours in A&E has finished filming on its second series filmed at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre. The show's producers, The Garden TV, spent the last five weeks filming at the Emergency Department ahead of the next series.

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) said more than 500 patients had consented to be filmed. In 2021, the trust welcomed cameras for 46 days of filming ahead of the first series.

This was the first to be filmed outside of London. More than 1,000 patients 2,000 staff gave their permission to be filmed, with around 120 fixed cameras being attached to walls around the department

Following the end of the latest round of filming, NUH said in a tweet: "That’s a wrap! The Garden TV cameras have finished filming for the second series of #24hrsAE at the Queen’s Medical Centre.

"Over the past 5 weeks more than 500 patients consented to being filmed in our Emergency Department. Thank you to all our staff and patients involved." It's unclear when the new series will air.
