The wife of a former professional footballer will appear in the latest episode of 24 Hours in A&E after attending Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham with a hockey injury. The episode, set to air on Channel 4 at 9pm today (January 24), is entitled 'The Unforeseen'.
Libby, 44, attends the emergency department after being hit in the face with a stick while playing hockey. She tells the story of her relationship with former Wolves player Richard Leadbeater, who gave up football to become a vicar.
The episode is the fourth of 24 episode to come from the filming at the Nottingham hospital - the first of the programme's series to be set outside of London. An eventful third episode saw 18-year-old Kye fight for his life after suffering a cardiac arrest during a football training session.

Also in this week's episode, 20-year-old Peta is rushed to QMC after after being knocked unconscious coming off her motorbike. Elsewhere, 21-year-old Callum arrives with a badly prolapsed stoma as a result of a previous stabbing.
