Channel 4 Love It or List It: Phil Spencer's luxury home with its own cinema and his tough job convincing his wife to relocate from Australia

Known as one half of the Kirstie and Phil duo, property expert Phil Spencer is renowned for finding amazing properties for house-hunters across the UK.

But what is Phil's own home like? The property guru currently lives in a stunning Hampshire house after swapping the busy London lifestyle for a more relaxed countryside pad.

You can read more Showbiz news here.

Phil is married to his Australian wife Fiona, who he took six years to convince to move to the UK, and they have two sons together, Jake and Ben.

In 2015 the whole family moved from London to a £3.3 million country house in Hampshire set in 10 acres of land with tennis courts and its own cinema.

There are six bedrooms each with an en suite and it is reported that Phil sold his former London home for £3.6m, making a profit of £2.4m.

With tall ceilings, chandeliers and a grand fireplace in the living room, Phil's dream of a countryside life looks set to come true.

Phil grew up in Kent and one of the reasons for the move back to the countryside was to go back to nature and green space.

The family have chickens, at least two ponies, sheep and dogs on their land and he has been married to Fiona since 2001.

Kirstie and Phil have presented Location, Location, Location together since 2000 (Fiona Murray)

He did not start out in property, leaving school after his A-levels with hopes to become a professional cricket player and after teaching sport in Australia he joined the British Army for three months.

It was after working for an estate agent in Canterbury that Phil became interested in property and he went on to study General Practice Surveying at London's Southbank University.

After graduating he set up his own business, Garrington Home Finders, and was then contacted by a Scottish production company, originally wanting him to consult on the format of the programme Location, Location, Location.

They also asked him to complete a screen test with Kirstie Allsopp and instantly the pair clicked becoming the well-known property presenters they are today.

Phil and Kirstie have a great chemistry but have always denied there's ever been any romance between them and they are both in long-term relationships. You can read more on Kirstie here.

Since, Location, Location, Location, Phil has gone on to present other programmes, including Love It Or List It (with Kirstie), Phil Spencer's Stately Homes and Find Me A Home.

Location, Location, Location has now been running for 22 years and Love It Or List is currently on its seventh series.

Love It Or List It continues on Channel 4 on Wednesday, February, 2 at 8pm.
