Gogglebox star Tom Malone Sr has sparked concern among fans of the show after appearing with an injury. The Channel 4 star was back on screens on Friday night (May 27) alongside wife Julie and son Shaun.
They were dishing their opinions on this week's TV alongside their fellow armchair critics which included a BBC Panorama investigation into Partygate which No 10 whistleblowers claimed to expose the extent of illegal partying within the government during the coronavirus lockdowns.
But Gogglebox fans couldn't help but notice that Tom Sr had his left arm in a sling. Addressing his injury from his sofa with his wife and son, he said: "Got to rest this a bit now, Julie, take it easy. I can't be doing any housework or heavy lifting, they said that to me. Definitely, no housework, rest my arm.

"She said, 'You should take it easy, make sure you get looked after' that sort of thing." Julie then responded: "Did you not tell her that you get looked after anyway regardless of your arm?" She continued: "You get cups of coffee whenever you want. You get your meals brought in on a tray."
Tom hit back: "I need looking after, I'm an injured puppy, look at me. I'll just have to sit here and watch tele now, Julie." Not backing down, Julie remarked: "What like you usually do, you mean?" He went on to add: "She said, 'You've got to take it easy' ...lifestyle changes."
"Did she say you don't have to brew up for your wife?" Julie asked before Tom replied: "She definitely said that." But fans were soon flocking to social media as they wondered what had happened.

Tom Snr hasn't addressed his injury further but the pair did post a video to their joint Instagram page before the Friday night's episode in which they confirmed it was the final one of the current series. And fans were quick to share their sadness.

Meanwhile, their son Tom Jr has been revealing more secret from the show. The dancer, who left the show last year to grab some new opportunities, made a rather 'weird' revelation during a recent Q&A on Instagram. During his question and answer, one fan asked him: "Do you stay in touch with anyone from Gogglebox other than your family?"
Tom replied: "So the weird thing with Gogglebox is, if you're on the show, you're not allowed to meet up with anyone else that is on the show, unless it's like an awards show that you're invited to or something. I still speak to a few people on social media and I still speak to all the crew and stuff... And see my mum and dad sometimes..."
