They are firm favourites with viewers, having starred on the show for a number of years. Now Gogglebox stars Jenny Newby and Lee Riley are asking fans for a little extra support.
They are back on the latest series of the Channel 4 show, discussing all the latest and best television. And ahead of the latest episode on Friday they asked for a little more from their fans when they posted on Instagram asking for support in the National Television Awards in a few weeks.
As Liverpool Echo reports, the much-loved Friday night show is in the running for an NTA award under the ‘Factual Entertainment’ category. Gogglebox has been nominated alongside The Great British Bake Off, Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs and Clarkson’s Farm.

Speaking to the camera, sat next to his best friend Jenny, Lee said: "Hi everybody. I want to ask you a favour - 13 days until the NTAs voting stops, so you've got 13 days to vote for us."
Jenny said: "Oh is it? I thought that's when the show was on." Lee replied: "It is."
They had a bit of discrepancy between themselves about when the awards event would be aired before Lee added: "13th October. Thursday.
"I think you can vote up until then. And we really need your votes because we've got a bit of competition."
Jenny asked: "Who's that then?" Lee laughed as he replied: "I don't know I can't remember!"
He added: "Anyway we need your votes, we would really really appreciate it if you haven't already voted to vote for us now. National Television Awards dot com and follow the link."
Jenny simply said: "Yes" as Lee said: "Is that all you can say, yes?" He began laughing as she went on a little rant about how he "has enough gob for everybody".
The video ended as they were both in stitches laughing at each other and Jenny gave a little wave. Lee added: "Don't forget to vote for us guys! Bye."
Fans were quick to support the Gogglebox favourites, who have been on the show since 2014. Jo said: "I love you two you're just the best xxx Defo vote for Gogglebox xx".
Another user said: "Done and love the video don’t ever change." Meanwhile, Julie said: "You have mine, love you two."
